When do you guys do the updating for the best of the best? It seems some of the products have been discontinued from Newegg. Are there newer alternatives that can be listed?

I agree. When will this be updated? It has been about 3 months now, and this was one of the top features I used to look for each month in the mag.

Come on guys. Back in the day, Best of the Best was my builder's guide. Now it lags so far behind that I keep having to go to other sites. You've got the AMD 7970 as the video top card, but then in the building blueprints section, http://www.maximumpc.com/article/featur ... _june_2012, you say to go with a single GTX690 over two 7970s. What gives? In fact, only one card in the blueprint article shows up in the BotB list. Is it really that hard to maintain the Best of the Best list?

Heh, I was just going to comment of the same thing. The Best of the Best since it's been removed from the magazine has been fading away fast. It really needs a strong refresh. How about every six months, they sit down and rewrite the thing? Cannot take THAT long. Hell, they could just steal half of the stuff from Tom's site.
