hey,

what would the htpc build from the october 2006 issue go for now a days?
maybe if memory and video card was upgraded?
any thought, id like to replace but dont think its recycle worthy just yet...still runs pretty fast.

I don't have the 2006 issue anymore because that box that held them all from Boot times weighed more than my engine blocks during moves. Sooooo....You have to be more specific or list what you have.

Any build from 2006 isn't a gold mine no matter what you paid or purposed it for yourself. HTPC at that time was very very limited as to what is available today, so you're looking at "slim to nothing". HT has evolved from a toad into a dragon since then, so it's no longer an HTPC really. You have an old computer to sell. If HT evolved in 6 years, that's a good 18 years in computer years.

Just trying to keep ya grounded here; not crapping on your HTPC.
