I just did a Christmas build. (see sig) It has an ASUS blu-ray drive in it. I popped in AVATAR and found out Windows media player doesn't support blu-ray >.< Is there any free blu-ray player software out there that will play a blu-ray disc?

Just to make sure, there wasn't a disc included?

VLC is free, but I'm not sure if you'll need the AACS keys.

I purchased a Samsung OEM Blu-ray drive and it came w/ Cyberlink 9 OEM. Also your signature is on your profile, you didn't post it.

You should be able to DL a OEM or light version of Cyberlink Power DVD from the Asus site. just find your model number and go to http//:www.asus.com look up your drive and go to the download section tab. I'm not sure what options you will have from there but, you should be able to pick up a copy from there or call them up and let them know what you have and a invoice number. They should be able to set you up with something.

theres also a free workaround way to do it. its a pain though.

VLC will play the m2ts file but not from the disc directly. rip the bluray with DVDFab 8 QT (free), that will decrypt and rip it to your HD. then use VLC.
