I have been playing alot of games on my PCs eversince the mid 90s using a joystick.I know most people use either a game pad or a keyboard, but I am limited because I only have the use of my lefthand.
I ask the sales people at the stores I go to for games that support joysticks,I have purchased a few including " Halo 2 for Vista ,Doom 3,Fear 3 and a few others, none allow me to use a joystick.
I am extremly frustrated,I guess I'm destined to play Quake 2 untill I go to the great Gamer in the sky.
Any suggestion? I tried JoyToKey,that didn't help.
Please help me.
BTW I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

Most games will support the Xbox 360 gamepad. It uses a different input API. Most people get around this by using a wrapper to translate to the new API. Look up "360 controller emulator" for how-tos. In the end, you will have to drop a few files into the game directory.

I've used Xpadder before, but that was for two XBox 360 controllers so that I could play MAME games with friends on a PC. I haven't used it for anything but game pads so I'm not certain it'll work for your joystick but you can check out the forums. I don't think Xpadder was free at the time I got it though.

Good luck.

Doesn't the Logitech Joystick software allow you to make "profiles" for games by assigning key strokes to the joystick?

Nasty

how about something like this, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826100006

or this looks to be left handed http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126050 and includes a thumb joystick, might be a learning curve but should work with any game and give you one handed control.
