Maximum PC

Hey guys,

I currently have a DLINK dsl-2640B with the EU 4.00 firmware. It has been giving me some trouble lately. both with holding the internet connection and in streaming to my PS3. I think it is time to replace it. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

I need it do be a dsl modem compatible with teksavvy (which is bell lines here in Canada) and a wireless router. The PS3 and 1 PC will be wired. Plus my Wii, laptops, ipads will be wireless. I would like easy control over port mapping and making static IPs for the ps3 and my PC. My house is not huge but I do need wireless ranging 4 floors.

We will be getting 2 new laptops this year (1 mac and 1 PC) so I am thinking they will have the latest wireless tech so the unit will have to support that. I will want to stream HD to the PS3 so that needs to be considered as well.

You can always daisy chain a new router to it. You can get something like the DIR-655 which should be perfect for your setup.

If you do need to replace it as a modem, I'm a bit partial to Linksys products and they have the Linksys X2000.
