I'm going to start a project for myself and my son to do. I have an old case that I'm going to fix up and paint. One of the beginning parts is to replace the on/off switch.

I have no clue what sort of switch I'll need. Can I get a helpful pointer here? Will this work?

Yes that will work. I am using a orange one for the th10 build I did. Just make sure you have the appropriate wires for it

Yes, just make sure you run it in the push-down config and not the common. Also make sure you have a SEPARATE power supply for the LED. Also make sure your running the correct voltage for the led. If push-down doesn't work try common then. With power switches you really can't mess it up. It either works or it doesn't.
