i tried it and it didnt work right.. i think the 1.3 patch also has 4gb address

1.3 does not solve the 4gb address issue...

Bethesda wrote:
Update 1.3 Notes (all platforms unless specified)

General stability improvements
Optimize performance for Core 2 Duo CPUs (PC)
Fixed Radiant Story incorrectly filling certain roles
Fixed magic resistances not calculating properly
Fixed issue with placing books on bookshelves inside player purchased homes
Fixed dragon animation issues with saving and loading
Fixed Y-look input to scale correctly with framerate

We’re also planning on rolling out support for 4-Gigabyte Tuning (Large Address Aware) next week for our PC users. Stay tuned!

Be sure you're using the latest 4GB addressing executable...

Remember, you have to use the modified executable from TES Nexus or other Skyrim Mod resource to utilize 4GB address, *every* time you play.

Also, it has to be the latest version, to match the latest version of Skyrim. ;)

Works for me, works for almost everyone else. ;)

Anyone been using the command line (~) in Skyrim much to simulate large battles by spawning numerous NPC's? I am using a core i5 750 OC'd to 2.9GHz, with two GTX 280's in SLI at 1680x1050, and 6GB DDR3. My system REALLY starts to lag once about 80NPC bodies are lying around dead with another 40vs40NPC's duking it out. Not only that, but even with 80NPC spawned, about 25% of them stand around and do not engage the enemies. (Probably too much AI to control for the processor)

I overclocked the CPU and GPU's which helped the frame rates, but much of the AI still stand around without a directive.

FAS RO DAH!

I got SKYRIM for Xmas. It’s such an epic game I think it deserves its own thread. I didnt have time to play until recently. I started play at 5pm and finally stopped at 2 in the morning.

Ive only explored a tiny area and done a few of the quests. This could take over my life Girlfriend, work and College will have to wait.

Anyone else playing? What do you think of it?

Jared11, Just go to any temple and use the alter to get rid of vampirism.

So far 170 hours and the main quest is not done yet...some of the side quests are almost a game in itself.

Nasty
