I found out that I can run Folding@home for my Fermi GPU and play Minecraft so when I am in Minecraft I will run the folding@home client. Minecraft is the only 3D Game that is alright with Folding@home GPU.

"Well, that's like...your opinion man" The Dude, circa 1998

I lose about 20-50ppd in GPU totals while gaming on much more demanding games...betas even (MS Flight is a hog right now). So instead of 12,006 I may "only" pull an 11,997 during that period. What client are you using? I'm still using v6.41 for this reference, but the v7 beta is still really stable.

You shouldn't have an issue folding while gaming is all I mean to say. Minecraft is a bit of a hog and can crash the folding process, but I've only seen that while the view distance is set to max. Lower the view distance to about mid-bar or less...you won't miss anything as far as the game play goes. It's their version of the render bubble every other game has by default for decades. In HL1, it was about 20ft for high resolutions and in MC 25% is about a 1/4 mile. Everything in that bubble (or viewing distance) is calculated and rendered for your viewing. Remember, MC has blocks you don't see being rendered just because they exist and you may want to chop them up, even if it's 20 levels below you and haven't gone there yet. Where "View" in common games may mean visible, MC treats that word differently.
