Hello to all who read!
I am curious to know if 3D Vision 2 would still work if I had this product (http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/produ ... 2go/#close) to split my DVI connection (I do know about 3D Vision surround, just curious to know). I have two GTX560Tis and my monitors are ASUS VG278Hs
Thanks!

highest refresh rate is 85 hz and at decently high resolutions it tops out at 60 hz. you want 120 hz for 3D.

so while I cant be 100% sure Im guessing no.

I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't except for lack of GPU power. IIRC, the TripleHead just makes one large resolution and then splits it out to multiple monitors. So, your PC is seeing for example 5760x1080 which solves a lot of issues.

no 120 hz support. checks the specs. at high res, like 5760x1080, you will be limited to 3D at 30 fps (60hz divided by 2). bleh.

Ok, from the specs you can't do the full 3D vision, but possibly 3D Vision discover (does not require 120hz). Also, I don't believe that 60hz/2 = 30 fps.

for 3D you need an image for each eye. 60 hz refresh= 30 images each eye per second. thats 30 hz effective.

I game in 3D on my TV using nvidia 3DTV Play software.. same tech, only I use the TVs shutter glasses and emitter, not nvidias. trust me. for 3D, 60 hz refresh rate gives a max of 30 FPS effective. 120 hz refresh is 60 FPS effective.
