my system spec:
OS: windows vista home premium
CPU: Intel quad core Q9550
motherboard: EP45-UD3L
RAM: 4GB
Graphic: ATI-HD4890

about a few months ago, my desktop start getting tons of BSOD, maybe due to the overheatings, so I bring my desktop to one of those computer shop, have technicians clean up my PC, change to new case and installed a CPU cooler(cool master V6GT), and hoping that would stop my PC from overheating(Ideally). Surprisingly, my CPU temp drops from 85-100 down to 30-40. At first, my problems seems to go away, but recently those BSOD start coming back, what can I do to make these BSOD goes away? Is it because of vista? or graphic card overheat? or else?

Oh one more thing, if I want to check the temp of my graphic card, what can I do? ever since, I start having these BSOD, I have downloaded this freeware called RealTemp 3.69.1, but it only shows my CPU core temp...

2ndly did the shop try to troubleshoot the BSOD or just sell you a new case..etc ?? meh..

you would need to give more information for anyone to help much on this... easiest way to give us more info

download bluescreen viewer and post back what it has to say on the dumps (post back here)

you can use blue screen view to get an idea of what is causing your bsod, the program can be downloaded from cnet. It gives you a basic idea of what is wrong with the pc.

I just downloaded this freeware from CPUID called HWMonitor, here is my temp:

After installing BLueScreenView, it shows that I have 5 crashes recently; there are so many details in those crash reports, so I double clicked on each crashing report, and then screen capture it as below:

on the screen of BlueScreenView, there is this column called "bug Check String", I am seeing 4 out of the 5 crashes that I had were coming from KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED, and one of them is from something called DRIVER_CORRUPTED_EXPOOL.

I also screen captured this part from BlueScreenView, it mentions "caused by driver" , "caused by address" and "file description":

judging by the KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED crashes and the bottom pane showing a ATI component "AtiHdmi.sys" I would say update your video drivers

I would also check for new drivers for your sound..and other devices.

if it was my computer I would also run memtestx86 and see that the memory passes... if this thing is overclocked then unoverclock it for now.

you might also want to run System File Checker -- sfc /scannow and see what that says.

temps look ok... but you might want to run prime95 or intelburn test to see what the load temps look like on the cpu

Yea check for new drivers for the sound like the above poster said. Also when it comes to looking at Blue Screen Viewer what matters is what is highlighted in red. Usually that will tell you whats wrong or at least point you in the right direction.
