This is really annoying. Purchased Office 2010 Home & Student (the retail boxed version for $120 from a major name computer store. Now, I find that for students who are enrolled at an accredited college/university, they can download Outlook, Publisher and Access 2010 for free once they verify their copy of Office 2010 Home & Student. Went through the process, got to the download page, and there is NO DOWNLOAD LINK. In the instructions it says to click on the "Download Now" button, but there is none.

I've tried this both in IE and Firefox and don't see it anywhere. Has anyone else run into this problem??????

(Normally I wouldn't care, but I'm working on a project [went back to take some computer classes at the local community college] and we are using Publisher and Access for the group project and didn't really want to spend $300 on the Pro or Business copy since I only needs these programs for one or two classes, and then will probably not use them again).

Do you meet that criteria?

Well that sort of sucks. Had purchased it through Dell (for $99 just simply because I have an account with them and a few Dell computers), but anyway, their site had stated this even when I ordered it (which was around 10/5. Apparently someone forgot to take the note down from Dell's website. I'm not going to overly complain about it since I did get somewhat of a deal on the program ($20 off compared to stores, and in some cases, $50 off). But it would have been nice to have Publisher (I can get Access for academic use through the school, but not Publisher).

There's always this...

USA - http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/mss ... .229301900

Canada - http://www.microsoft.com/student/office ... fault.aspx

At our College, this is where we direct our students to go if they want Office cheaply.
