Hi there! I have a bunch of folders (hundreds of them, each folder has a different name) and each folder holds 3 or 4 .mp3 files. For example, one of the folders is titled: Future Science. The .mp3 files inside that folder are: Broadcast January 2011 01.mp3, Broadcast January 2011 02.mp3 and Broadcast January 2011 03.mp3. Is there a batch renaming program that will let me select ALL THE FOLDERS and let me change the file names based on each folder's title? To be more specific, I want the .mp3 files to be: Future Science 01.mp3, Future Science 02.mp3, Future Science 03.mp3 ...doing this folder by folder, file by file would take me a long time. Thanks in advance :D

Not positive, but I think ReNamer should do what you want.

I'll check it out, thanks! I was in a hurry to finish this project and didn't see your post in time. Found this program called 'FileBoss', deleted the .mp3 tags using MP3tag, made sure the folder had the names I wanted and ran this set of flags: <folder> <seqbyfolder>.<extension> ...it worked really well. I downloaded ReNamer and will play with it soon. I lived in Independence MO for a year, your town rocks!
