Is anybody going to try out the Win8 Dev Preview?

I'm downloading it now and will be installing it on my laptop.

I just wish I had a touchscreen to tryout the multitouch features.

i am running the 32-bit version at work on a really crappy computer, which is made up of other crappy computer parts, and it is cool, but slow. i am going to be loading the 64-bit version+tools tonight on my secondary computer at home.

i like the interface, but it takes some getting used to when you dont have a taskbar always at the bottom.

I've been running the 64bit version for a few days now.

There are a few features related to Internet Explorer10 IMO that seem a bit buggy. (Like when launching some links within a website one might end up in full screen mode.) And the nagging about the settings not allowing some content to be displayed.

But for the most part, it's been pretty stable for me.

I'm running the 64 bit version on a modern computer and it runs smoothly. The "8" operating system is far different earlier versions and takes a lot of fooling around to figure out what's what. Maybe I'm just ignorant, but I see no improvement over 7. I'm glad it was free.

It's a developer preview. It not even a beta product at the moment. I don't see where this expected quality is coming from.

OK guy, here is a challenge for everyone including the MPC Editors.
USING only the Metro menu in Windows 8 CP I want to see if anyone can get anything else besides the "Pin/Unpin"/Uninstall/Larger/Smaller choices by right clicking a tile. In other words find the Properties in any of the Metro tiles. Then report back here the steps they had taken to achieve that challenge. REMEMBERING now according to MPC WE are the TRUE power users!! P.S. No tools are off limit to accomplish this task. *Tools* GodMode, MetroTweakUi, etc.

OK Ladies and Gentlemen.. LETS show them why we ARE PowerUsers!!

*bump*
