Maximum PC

My first topic in the dog pound. Usually UPS is decent at getting my packages through to me; faster than both Fed-Ex and USPS, but when I ordered The Universe in Blu-Ray, they left it in front of my drive way. Usually they leave it at my doorstep, but I guess this time they put it right in front of my garage door. Then either my sister drove over it with her car or the package was damaged in transit. This happened last month though, I just wish I called UPS up and ask "WTF?"

Thankfully though, the disks weren't damaged.

We have issues like this all the damn time, I'm about a half step away from hiding in the bushes so I can beat the bat-shit out of the driver out here. They NEVER knock on the damn door more than a single tap, and then haul ass out of here, and what's worse is they'll park out in front of the neighbor's house BEHIND us, and that way it's easier for them to get away quickly. It's been many many years since I've come across a decent UPS driver (in the personal, not business, terms, cuz they don't pull that crap with businesses).

I love the 7pm drop an run no knock delivery. I swear our local UPS must employ former convicts. Nobody should be able to drive in an out that quietly.

I actually had a package delivered at 7:45pm once. I am pretty sure he lobbed it on the porch from at least 20 feet away, I was in the room by the door an never saw or heard him.

They never show up that late here, it's usually anywhere from 2pm to 5pm, but I'm not one to like playing the guessing game, lol.

I don't get UPS delivered to my apartment, due to my front door located on Main St. and my apartment upstairs - too many unmentionables walk by my door without my knowledge. I have my parent's house as the shipping address from newegg, Amazon, and eBay. They only live 1/4 mile away, but with both retired, someone is always home.

UPS and FedEx deliver about 9:00am here.

They usually deliver at 5-6pm here, but I did have one package delivered at 9:00pm before.

UPS always delivers my packages between 11am and 1pm..normally right around noon.

ive had a couple damaged boxes,but none from Newegg.

my life long best friend works for UPS in the sorting facility.

he told me in order for every package to pass inspection it needs to be thrown out a 10 story building /jk but he did say that

I don't know what the hell you're all complaining about, as UPS/Fed Ex have been pretty good to me. The only issue I've had recently was with USPS, in which a package I ordered, a $0.96 capacitor has yet to somehow ship from one of USPS transit hubs.

We're complaining about our experiences with them as per title.

I just want to know where the ninja school is that they hire their stealth drivers from

NOBODY Can come an go that quietly! I swear I have been 2 foot from the door and there was not a sound! No knock, nothing I went out side to put something in the big trash can and there was a package on my deck.

They're all ex-spies.

Spoiled actually. You need to build a case rather than say they screwed you over once. This impacted your life....how? The Dog Pound is here fore people with actual problems. You...not so much. Nothing was wrong, just slow from what I read.

Why do you posters put people in the dog pound so easily? Again...spoiled. We need a benchmark. If you didn't ask Tech support nor the forum here, you don't get to state anything here.

You're crying wolf or the sky is falling, when nothing is actually happening on either side. This is a place where you should be at wit's end, not the start of your journey. In other words, you better watch Pulp Fiction and have an actual problem in order to call The Wolf. If you don't, you're just complaining that you can't grasp some concept.

UPS is thus far, not dog worthy. I've yet to see a problem myself.

It was a one time event, so I do forgive them for it, as they're usually great....but I wanna kick the fucktard who put the package in front of my garage.

Mine does the same. A real nice guy, he rings the doorbell when he has a package, and I never had a problem with him.

I hate UPS & will choose any other shipping option if available unless cost is a concern.

In the past 20 years of deliveries to me, UPS has...
> lost 2 packages (one not insured)
> delivered 4 packages to wrong address (possibly 6 with the above 2 mentioned)
> delivered 6 packages to my address when they were going to a different address, one of them was perishable goods clearly marked as "delivery signature required"
> delivered about 1/3 of all my packages with shipping damage.
> replaced 5 packages due to obvious shipping damage
> tossed 2 packages clearly marked "Fragile" (3" x 8" fluorescent orange stickers on all sides) over a 6 foot high closed gate with an open access gate 20 feet away, both were replaced by UPS
> tossed 2 other packages directly in front of the gate so that I could not open the gate without parking my car, and walking through the open access gate to remove the packages. One was pretty small & got caught under the gate as it was opening, drug about 3 feet before reaching a high spot & getting stuck, the shipping package was shreded, fortunately the contents were okay.

I actually use USPS when the option is available, then Fed Ex, then DHL. UPS is the only one I consistenly have problems with.

Oh, & I live 1.38 miles from the UPS Facility & for the past 3 years, 100% of my UPS packages (excluding overnight) have been delivered after 5PM, at a time when I left home to go to work at 3:30PM.

I have a UPS store box that I use for mail, and I also use it for packages since it's safe.

I have not had very many 'problems' with UPS. One box delivered to the wrong house. A couple dented boxes. One torn open box (but the internals were undamaged).
But this time I'm calling them out.
I ordered an SSD from the 'egg and it was shipped with UPS Mail Innovations (that's UPS not the Post Office). The invoice shows it was shipped from TN. The TN warehouse is in Memphis.
I happen to live in TN.
Now here's where I start calling BS. The invoice says shipped from TN (most likely the Memphis warehouse) to Atlanta, BACK to Memphis and from there I don't know yet.
Someone explain why they have to ship it further away just to have it come back to the city where it originated to then be sent to me??????????

That's so that you don't get your package too soon... ya think I'm jokin don't ya...

USPS has some really nice guys. UPS screwed up an Ebay sell, costing me $50.
