I didn't use Folding GPU Tracker V2 to install my folding clients. From the "ReadMe" file it looks like you can only use Folding GPU Tracker if you installed all the Folding client software using the Tracker.

The minor annoyance I have is that two of my computers are running SMP clients as a service. I can see that all the CPU cores are running at 100% of capacity because of the SMP client but I cannot see the current status of any work unit. A third computer is running SMP in a command prompt window. I can't tell how much the two "SMP as service" machines are putting out, other than the increased output shown on my user stats page.

My question is if I use Task Manager to halt the folding SMP service (listed as "Folding@home-CPU-[1]") can I then restart it in a command prompt window in order to see the status?
Or is there any way of using "Tracker" at this late stage?

I recently installed SMP on three computers (already had 2 GPU clients) because I was loosing ground to fellow folder Mani-aX who is coming up fast, just a half million point behind me.

I have never folded using a service but I'm assuming you still have client folders and such. Therefore I would reccemend using HFM and point it towards the folder containing your unit info. AFIK the only way to use Tracker now would be to transplant the work info into the new work folders that tracker installs.

HFM works as magnumsrule says. I have a client as a service on my old XP desktop and monitor it with HFM.

Great Full_Taoer and magnumsrule, thanks for the info.
Please tell me though about "HFM" and where I can get it. Does it have another longer name?
Anyway, thanks again. Now I have hope.

Thanks Full_Taoer and magnumsrule,
HFM is working great on the two machines running the SMP client as a service.
I am looking forward to gathering even more data in the days ahead.
