I feel that Future will drop it's print magazines relatively soon. In this likely event will subscribers get a cash refund for undelivered issues, a crappy subscription to Maxim (it's happened to me twice) or some other lame mag, or nothing at all?

Are you talking about this article?
http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/ju ... close-sell

"In an email to staff on Tuesday, Future's UK chief executive, Mark Wood, confirmed that the titles to be sold or closed were DVD & Blu-Ray Review, Hi-Fi Choice, What Satellite & Digital TV, Home Cinema Choice, London Tech Guides & Bookazines, Photoshop Focus Guides, Nitro and Redline."

No US titles are mentioned.

It's only a matter of time..

My current subscription will expire in about 6 issues and I don't want to renew if Future is going to leave me high and dry. No more F'ing Maxim!

There are no plans* to shutter the US magazines any time soon. Maximum PC in particular still makes money for the company as a print product, so even if some of the US magazines are converted to digital-only**, Maximum PC should still be going.

I'm glad to hear that, but if (when) Maximum PC stops sending out a print edition, how will subscribers be compensated for remaining undelivered issues? I'm not joking about Maxim. I've managed to accumulate 9 years worth of this lame rag due to other magazines being axed.
