The price for the specs is really great and I'm interesting in getting one for me, replacing my aging Centrino Duo laptop, and one for my son entering community college. Apparently it's just very new so there aren't any reviews yet. I'm interested in anyone's input if they know anything about this model.

It just looks like a Sandy Bridge refresh from an older model. Other than that, there really isn't much to say. Anything specific you would like to know?

I was referring to the non-traffic in this forum section.

And, yes, I agree with your assessment. The price-point is awesome and the only thing it's missing is USB 3.0 which is not really an issue. I'll be looking again this week to get a purchase moving.

Lenovo uses 5400rpm drives.
Dell seems overpriced.
MSI and Acer don't seem too well-liked.
