i ordered on 6/2/2011 an 8 pin and a 24 pin cable extentions from NZXT,because the Corsair HX 850W psu cables weren't long enough to mount the psu on the bottom of my HAF 932 case.

i keep checking on my order and its still in the processing stage! wtf!

PC-CB 24P CB 24P
[color:Black] 1 $9.99 $9.99
PC-CB 8P CB 8P
[color:Black] 1 $7.99 $7.99

Sub Total: $17.98
Tax: $0.00
Shipping: $8.95
Grand Total: $26.93

what really grinds my gears is i found them on Newegg..they cost the same, but only $1.99 shipping for each! not $8.95 to ship 2 crappy cable extensions.

i guess its my own fault..i never thought to check with the EGG *sigh*

its been 7 days already! if i would've ordered them from the egg i would have them by now!

ok /rant off

I don't see how your HAF 932 dis too big for that PSU, the cables are the same length as my 850TX (and my NV690 is barely smaller than the HAF 932) and it has more than enough length in every single cable. You must be doing some specialized re-routing or something, correct?

nope..just straight up behind the MOBO tray..nothing fancy by any means.

i was a bit dissappointed to say the least.

everything else fit just fine..if i had like an 1/8th inch more it would've worked, but no dice.

i'll prolly post them in the modders workshop.

I'd just post em here, no sense in making a whole new thread just 4 that. If they move it for u they do, but there's no need 2 make a whole new thread 4 it when it's part of this.

so the cable extensions still haven't shown up yet and i started thinking about what you said, and i realized somthing..when i put the psu in the case the fan was at the top facing up which put the non modular cables furthest away from the mobo tray.

so i tried it again with the fan on the psu facing down, and wouldn't ya know..they REACH! w00t!
anyway heres some pics of my rig.

originally the fan was facing upwards d'oh!..now its sucking in air from the bottom of the case which moved the non modular cables closer to the mobo tray which gave me more than enough room for the 8 pin and 24 pin cables to reach.

the funny thing is when the fan was facing upward the HX850 logo was still positioned correctly the way you see it now.

Have they even shipped the things yet? If not, cancel the order and after it's done, post a resellerratings.com complaint about the situation. Trust me when I tell you that companies read those, it really does help.
