It use to be that if I placed an order at Newegg early enough in the day it would ship that night. If it shipped from their Tennessee facility this meant I would get it next day.

The last few times I've ordered from Newegg it has taken more than 1 day for them to process the order.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

I haven't ordered much from Newegg, but the last thing I ordered at 2:30pm and it shipped out that same day.

The time before that, I ordered late at night and it shipped out that next night.

I experienced that issue myself recently. I don't get to purchase from them often, but usually they're pretty fast. This last time, for sure, was not very speedy. It took them almost 2 whole days to ship it out, and then the shipping took, if I remember correctly, another 3 days to get to me. It was a very simple order as well, so I don't get it, and it shipped from TN that time as well (most items I get from them usually do).

I order stuff that ships from Edison, NJ all the time and it's usually here next day if I order before 9:00am. Of course, I'm only an hour from Edison and could easily swing by and pick it up myself.

This happened this week, as well. Ordered a copy of Win7 and Office Student Monday morning, and it was at my door Tuesday afternoon with free 3-day UPS ship.

I'm thinking maybe it's warehouse-specific, that's my speculation.

It is warehouse specific I have had a case sent from there California WH and something sent from NJ and they arrive at the same time even though I had the same shipping method.
Also don't forget that they have the check box to expedite the processing too.

Me, too. I've also caught stuff that came from California get to me in two days as well. I guess it depends on if UPS has room on the overnight planes or not, otherwise, much of the trucks ride across the country to the northeast via railroad.

But as far as rush processing, I've check and paid for that twice, and it doesn't do anything but get it to newegg's outbound docks quicker. So, to me it isn't worth the $2.99...

This isn't a shipping thing. None of the items have shipped. Plus it indicated everything was shipping from the Tenn facility.

One of the parts I ordered was out of stock the next day though.

Oh, I got it now... I've still seldom had anything sit in the 'Charged' or 'packaging' queue for long...

Exactly.

The last time this happened it was for a MicroSD card.

For nearly a week it sat as charged, then finally shipped. :?

The whole kit and caboodle.

If it ships Monday I'll get it Tuesday, so that's not too bad.

It's just weird that some of my orders have been staying at 'charged' for more than a few days.

I wish we had a store like Frys or MicroCenter here locally.

We have a locally owned store, and I try to shop there whenever I can, but the prices are just too much over the Egg's.

Tap tap tap.....Ordered on 3/31 and still tracking shows it is 5 states away.....

I mean I get that SDHC cards are small and go through mail channels, but I am sooo used to getting parts from them quickly. I ordered an 1155 MSI mobo on 4/4 and it is here already.

....tap tap tap....

I ordered something a couple weeks ago, but before that I hadn't ordered anything in several several months from newegg. Like the OP said, for me they would get the shipment out the same day, but it seems their shipping has gotten a little bit slower over time. I did use the free shipping option, so they really don't have a need to rush. But before when I used the free shipping option I would get the item in about 3 days. Recently, I got it in about 5 days. Slightly slower, but hey, it is free shipping (in my case at least).

I get NewEgg stuff from the California W H. It used to take less than a day to ship if I ordered early enough. A few weeks ago then posted a notice about some sort of saver shipping method. Since then my last few orders have taken a few days to ship and 2 - 3 days to get. much slower. While I still go to New Egg first I now do not use them for smnall orders as sometime in the following few days I will usually be near a computer store so I can just pick up what I need.
They seem to have slowed down quite a bit based on my small statistical sampline.

If you are in the Los Angeles area, you can pick it up directly from Newegg.

But I have to admit, the egg saver shipping is slow, but that's probably why it's free (for the most part).

I am about an hour and a half south of them. If I am going to go pick up there is a Micro Center closer. Also I have to pay the ridiculous (note that it is spelled correctly) Ca taxes either way. I love New Egg but I used to get stuff in one or two days but now it takes at least twice that long. Yes the shipping costs are now lower so I guess you get what you pay for.

I have ordered five items from NewEgg in the past month and have noticed absolutely no slowdown at all as all items have been shipped from NewEgg within 12 hours of having ordered them, regardless of the shipping. The only "slowdown" that I have noticed is when UPS requires a signature for delivery and they don't arrive at my place before I leave for work between 2:30 and 2:40 in the afternoon. (Funny how that happens now that I work the 3-11 shift! When I worked on the 7-3 shift, they always arrived at my door between 1:00 and 2:00 in the afternoon! )
