So far so good.

I only have a Q6600 and a 260 GTX so I didn't try to push it graphics wise but it still looked good.

I'm not a big fan of multiplayer so I'm not the person to be asking.

I'm really waiting for the single player version.

My friend who is addicted to the 360 Halo Reach multi, came over to my house to check out my new system and I told him "hey, try out this new crysis 2 demo".

In the end, he now wants me to build/help buy a gaming computer because he was loving it. He even wants to sell his 360 lol... I too am not a huge online multiplayer kinda guy..but the Crysis 2 multi demo was very fun, and pleasing for me. The graphics are sooooo beautiful. Too bad I will have to live with dx10 for now with my gtx 280's. (Though I heard nvidia 200-series may inherit dx11 somehow soon through software/drivers?)

You need hardware DX11 to get the effects.

On another note, Crysis 2 Demo is on 360 and is being released on that platform.

Ya I told him that it was going console wide regardless, but he finally got it through his head that going PC is the best in many many ways(personally of course). He needs his own desktop soon, so he figured that its best to get it all in one package.

It's basicly taken the COD formula and added it's own Crysis twist with the armor abilities. Personally I like it but I can see it getting old REAL fast. I'm still looking forward to the SP though.

They really favored design over game mechanics in the MP levels and they look incredible, I'm just not to sure how well they will play balance wise as a competitive game. But I only played the 2 demo maps so who knows.

Great, he joined our side (we have cookies) and willfully too. Anyways, a good quad core and cheap DX11 card would probably be the best for him. I'm not certian of his budget and whatnot, but you can scrounge something up on a budget to play Crysis 2. I would head over to the Help Me build section if you haven't. Get some info from him and they can draw up rig for him.
