Ugh, long week. Two 2684s back to back. 10K PPD drop doing those! This one should be done in about 8 hours when I get home from work, then I'll take that sucker down and regrease it.

'Bout time I took my machine down too. I haven't
regreased it in ages and it needs to have a thorough
dustbunny removal done too even though there should
only be the small particle type. Need to get my MX-4
and regrease the SB, Chipset and V-Regs in place of
the shoddy thermal tape used on the mobo at the get-
go.

My PPD has plummeted of late because I have been
doing a lot of DVD backups and other transcoding on
my rig and naturally cannot fold at the same time.
Depending on how hot it gets and how high my energy
bill goes this summer, I may have to hang it up for a
while to make ends meet.

...What I would'nt give for some solar power!!
And liquid cooling.
And a couple of GTX 460's.

Thanks. Hopefully, I can double my production
in the next few months and soon will be celebrating
my 1-million point milestone. (But will keep my top-
500 badge. I like these ones better). :P

I'd just like to say:
Liar!

Seriously, sad to see you hang it up for now, but I'm sure you'll be back in as soon as you reasonably can.

Need to replace an aging AM2+ board
in order to continue, also put out a few
fires in the bills dept. as well.

A few months I hope.

Will keep an eye out on the Hardware Swap
for a decent mobo with DDR2 and an AM2+,
125~140w CPU support. Will be going to my
mom since her old eMachines is dying a slow
death. I'll put my old Phenom x4 in thar and
OC it to fold for me.

Just got a quad core since my old computer died on me. I have 2 cores and one GPU client folding! :D
I'm sure it will be a while but, I'll get there I have patience.

No points yet, but glad to see you have the passion for folding!

Been a while since I posted here and thought I would peek back in

Hi! I started folding after you had to take your hiatus, but gimme a couple more months, and I might show up in your rear view. Hope you've been able to put out some bill fires (and didn't just burn those suckers up...they hate it when you do that  )

If I could fire up all my computers again, I would put out about 22k PPD, but
the electric bill must first be paid and then I will be snagging a Bulldozer and a
Crosshair V. So until then, I am saving my ducats and conserving energy. :P
