Is the Droid Incredible still a worthwhile phone?

My wife and I are on Verizon, and will be staying that way.

Would it be worth paying double and going up to the Samsung Fascinate, or would the Incredible hold steady?

There is also the thought of holding off until the CDMA Windows Phone 7s come out next month/April.

Also, anyone with a good bit of experience adding a phone to a pre-existing plan? There are a number of good deals on Amazon, but the add a line button is grayed out and says coming soon.

I've got the incredible and it works just fine for me, but I did come from a crappy basic phone. I did have a string of bad phones, but Verizon was good about sending be replacement phones.

Very belated, but I've been running a Droid Incredible since they came out last April, and I still really dig it. Just flashed CyanogenMod 7, so I have Gingerbread, but the official HTC Gingerbread ROM is supposedly coming within the next few weeks.

A little too late Nate.

I jumped to AT&T and got a Samsung Captivate, but had to ditch them and am now back with Verizon on a Samsung Fascinate.
