This is a challenge for everyone with less than 500,000 points.
Any of you out there trying to burn up the road between where
you are now and some distant goal, I challenge you to catch
me and to pass me!!! Just for the sake of knowing you passed
someone who laid out the challenge mat!

If you will post your stats from Folding.Extremeoverclocking.com,
I will make you a Sig and post it here for everyone to watch your
progress!

We will start with mine:

(n3v3r_3n0u9h, on the bottom, is only gaining by 77
points per day, but I have hope he will catch me too!)

Let the beatin' begin!!!

Fold on!
Go Team MPC!!!!!

I'll take up that challenge. Still tweaking my machines, but I figure I'll have around 15K PPD once everything is running along. At that rate, with your 8K, it'll only be... about 122 days before I overtake you!

Be forewarned: After upgrading my Phenom x4 9850
to a Phenom II x4 965, the next logical step is a new GPU.
With the jump to a Phenom II @ 4ghz, I should increase my
PPD to around 12~15k.

Easy? What is this easy term? The data will be truncated.

HOWEVER, I see more contenders on theh horizon:

Ya, relying purely on CPU folding here, all my GPUs are ATIs! I'll figure out how to get that GTX280 folding, one way or another...

That should certainly propel you in front of me nicely.

The 280 should produce 6~8k PPD. :D

Set a short-term goal for myself of MPC Top-1000 by Valentine's Day. 21 Days! Can I do it? Push it a bit and I think so!

On topic, you're still a few hundred PPD (looking at today's figures) ahead of me, but I have a secret weapon (or two) coming along in the next few weeks!

Go me!

Nice. BUT!

Ordered:

☼ EVGA GeForce 250GTS 1gb. (5k PPD)
☼ Phenom II x4 965 Black Edition. (4k PPD more than current proc @ 4ghz).
☼ Second Foxconn Destroyer with an additional 4 PCI-E slots.

Will transfer my old Phenom x4 to the new Destroyer, along with XP-Pro, 2gb of DDR2 and a GTS 250.
So altogether, I should roughly double my PPD in the months to come. XD

Where on earth did you find a Foxconn Destroyer for sale?

Overclock.net forums. You see, they may be the enemy,
but it is important to achieve greatness from all available
sources. All the better if you enemies help you to defeat
them.

There is a guy on the OCN forums who wants a SandBridge,
he said he did not want his Destroyer anymore so I offered
him $50.

Now to find another case, HDD, ODD and PSU for it. :D

This case should go great with your new mobo.

That is an excellent case for the price. Even this one would do:

NZXT BETA EVO Classic = $45

Still, even though it has more fan mounts, the Rosewill is prettier.

NICE!

I am thinking about it and also about taking a decent AM2+
board from work, putting a dual core into it along with an
entry-level ATi card for a simple gaming rig to hold me over
and making both my Foxconns into dedicated folding beasts.

Once Bulldozer comes out and Intel announces their next chip,
I will make a decision on what type of system to build next.

:P

Thanks. Hopefully, I can double my production
in the next few months and soon will be celebrating
my 1-million point milestone. (But will keep my top-
500 badge. I like these ones better). :P

Well, Short-term goal came and went, 2 weeks early. I show up on your threats list now, better watch it!

On a serious note, I have to take down my mobo and reapply my thermal compound. Getting scary temps with the new 2600K OCd (80+C), so just running at stock 3.8 for now.

Yeeeesah... saw you pop up at a scary 10k PPD gain on me today!

Grats! Good luck with that 2600k thermal issue.

EDIT: However, in the next couple of weeks, I shall be getting a GTX 460. Bwahahahahaha!

*Jealous Here*

Still, I have room for 2 460's in my rig, I just need to buy them.
$30 saved so far, with another $100 going into the pot. :D
