Is this compatible with a Phenom II X4 965?

I see no reason it shouldn't be, and I see other people use it with the same cpu but Newegg seems to specify it for the core i5 and i7. I just want to make sure.

Here's the link.

Never rely on Newegg specs. The manufacture's website is the best place to get reliable information.

heh I just recently yanked mine off a LGA 775 proc and placed it upon a LGA 1366 proc, no probs, I've also plopped em new on AM2 and AM3 procs with ease, they are VERY flexible ! Never trust newegg for specs......NEVER !

Eh dub... with the CM- it's a GREAT cooler but be mindful of how you apply your paste. It seems to seep into the cracks between the base and the heat pipes. Just be aware of it. Had a bit of an issue with mine.

newegg's "specs" are categories.
A little knowlege beyond any retailer's organization methods can go a long way.
