 Post subject: Video Card PCI 2.0 or 2.1

I am looking at video cards for a planed build. I wanted to know if a video card that is pci 2.1 will work in a mobo that says it has pci 2.0 slots? What are the differences between the two?

Yeah it will. All PCIe is, in general, intercompatible. 2.1 has some issues with ancient Nvidia-chipset 1.0 slots, but otherwise any PCIe version will work with any other. 2.1 isn't any faster than 2.0, it just has a few more features.
