The article The 6 Most Important Moments in PC Audio History is broken in IE8 and since it was the last article posted for 10/04/10 the rest of the main page is also broken. You can't see any articles after it and you can't see the page number links to get to older articles.

If you look at the source for that article there are huge blocks of code that appear to be from MS Word which I assume is the issue. This is actually a pretty common occurrence on MaximumPC.com. I see a few articles a week with this problem (not sure if all had the MS Word code), although they have not been the last article of the day in the past. It also varies where the article breaks, sometimes half of the article shows up, sometimes everything but the user comments.

Here is an example of a previous case viewtopic.php?f=28&t=108798
It's rarely reported but it happens frequently and it's really disappointing when I see this.

I wrote to George Jones and he said they are aware that there are issues and are working on it.

It looks like they have fixed "The 6 Most Important Moments in PC Audio History" article already.

The main page is broken again and there are still articles with unresolved issues. I updated the second post with details.

From my end, it looks fine in FF 3.6. But, yeah its broken in IE8. Comp. view doesn't help either.

New article 7 Ways Windows Phone 7 Is Better Than Android (And 5 Ways It Isn’t) is currently broken in IE8. It works in FF and Chrome.

Looks like the same problem the The 6 Most Important Moments in PC Audio History article had. There is a huge block of MS Word code left in the html.

The article Windows Phone 7: The Day After is broken. None of the article displays in IE8.

Nav at the bottom of the page actually worked this morning so I could catch up on previous articles I'd missed. First time in four or five visits...

THIS IS STUPID! WHY DOESN'T MAX PC's WEBSITE DO MULTIPAGE? Only one page of MaximumPC.

Maxtech works but, of course, is limited in articles.

FIX THIS PLEASE!

Doesn't work in IE8, doesn't work in Firefox 3.6.13, and doesn't work in Chrome 8.0.552.224.

It does. you just type "?page=1" after the "/" for the 2nd page, change the 1 to a 2 for the 3rd page, and so on. it's just the links broken.

The burden of making the site work is not upon you nor I.

Let's get it fixed.

Here I dropped by hoping to post that the past 3 visits (roughtly daily) found the front page navigable. But, no such luck. Only one page available this visit. :(
