So it's been a while since I've posted here, but I just recently had some questions that I think would be appropriate here (hopefully it's the correct place) about recycling old parts or trading them in for cash. I've noticed a lot of retailers are beginning to offer programs that recycle for free or even give cash back for certain products depending on their condition.
I just found that my
damaged phone will get me some cash through
Newegg's program, but they seem to only do phones. I just had a
SCEPTRE x22wg-Gamer Black 22" 5ms(GTG) stop working a few days ago and I'd like to know where I can get cash for trading it in.
Here's the thing: It's not COMPLETELY broken. It still receives power (blinking blue light), but it doesn't seem to work on the DVI port which has been fixed once under warranty already and worked for about 5 years straight through heavy use, and the panel behind wont respond to trying to change input sources. The power button only responds sometimes. I'm sure its not complete junk and worth reusing if fixed, but I'm ready to get rid of it if I can find a place that will give me something for it.
Like I said, if Newegg will still pay people for damaged phones, I'm sure I can find a place that will give me something for slightly damaged and probably easily fixable monitors with nice features. I just need your help please!
P.S. - I looked a little bit through
THIS website but didn't find a place that would give me any value for the trade-in in the manufacturer's list. Maybe you can find something I missed.
