OK, hopefully I got this in the right section this time.....

I have my Dell Inspiron 11z laptop, which ( I think) has the Intel GS45 chipset (it has the onboard Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics) with the HDMI port. Anyway, the computer itself has Windows 7 Home Premium, 2GB of RAM and a 1.3 GHZ ULV dual core pentium processor (I think it's an 800 MHz FSB processor, and I think the model number is SU4100). Anyway, is this unit fast enough to play HD content (full 1080p) to a TV via the HDMI port?? Or is the processor too slow? The proc has a 2MB L2 cache.

As long as the IGP can do hardware decoding, which it should be able to, then you'll be alright.

There are test clips you can download.

h.264 and VC1 test samples.

There was also a site that had test clips of .TS (Transport Stream) files, but I can't find it at the moment.
