So this article has made me very envious of a 3D gaming setup. Does anyone know what the future of 3D gaming is for ATI? I have dual 4870s with no intention to upgrade soon, any chance of a driver release for the 48xx supporting 3D?

Might want to look into iZ3D. I haven't heard of any first party solution for Ati.

3D from what I hae heard is NOT avilable at all to anything other than the 5xxx series of cards, just like Eyefinity is only for them aswell. Where as Nvidia has gone thtur the trouble to expand 3d, 3d surround and 2d surround to the 4xx and GTX2xx line of cards.
