Is there a way to take the output that MYSQL generates (when you run a query, for example "SELECT * FROM EMPLOYEES" and pipe or transfer that output (the laytout of the table with the matching values in table form) into a textbox in a .net application (either VB.Net or VS.Net)

I already know how to use the MySql Connector for .Net, I just want to be able to get the same output that you would from Mysql using the command prompt into a textbox.

I'm trying to create a Windows app that will do the same functionality as the MYSQL command line system.

Thanks. I'm aware that MySQL has what I'm trying to do, but part of this is a learning experience for me in C#. It's not something I plan to give out or sell, but may decide to use parts of it in my future programs if they deal with MySQL.
