I was looking at this stuff, which says it's expandable, which would allow me to get the connectors in one time.

I don't really know how expandable pot is... don't think it makes good cable sleeving either.

Nah you have to remove the cables to fit it on really,its pretty simple and the result is much nicer then just using simple tubing or cable ties.

I was wondering whether sleeving kits are any good, and is it cheaper in the long run?

Well i always find that buying separate braid and shrink cheaper and you can choose just what you want and need.
Make sure you get high quality stuff since cheaper crap tents to frey apart and be a pain to use plus with the cheap stuff you can some times see the color of the cable inside and it looks naff.

Well, I went and got some sleeving from Crazy PC. Here's some work in progress...





The green sleeve had 2 USB connectors and a Firewire Port, with the Black sleeve containing the Power and Reset wires. I'm going to try to insert the PWR and HDD led cables.

Zip-ties and routing the cables make a big difference. Covering cables with tubing is pretty much a cosmetic option.

Well, I got everything in...



...I even got all the USB and Firewire connectors in the 3/8" sleeve! But it's so wide now that the heatshrink won't fit! I did tuck the ends in, and will keep a good eye on it for fraying! But at least I got rid of that annoying 24-pin extender!

1st pic breaks the tables, a lot. I have a resolution of 1680x1050, and I still have to pan left to right. Anyway, I honestly liked the look of the split-loom tubing better, but to each their own. The green clashes with everything else, yet stands out in a way that you will always know that those are the particular cables they are, lol. If I may, I'd suggest taking a little bit more time and cleaning it up a little more, with the hiding and tucking and zip-tying or as I'd really suggest: twist-tying, the remaining cables. I'd only do that though cuz i absolutely hate to see a cluttered computer, but that's just me. Looks nice regardless.

I have the same case. There's plenty of room on the backside to hide those cables. Also if you leave the hard drive slides in it will hide what few cables you have laying around on the bottom.
