OK. I just got a new desk setup. I love it, but I want to put some blue LEDs under the desk to make it look cool at nite. I haven't found any ready made solutions that was worthwhile, so I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on what parts to get so I can put together some LEDs under my desk. Thank you in advance.

I guarantee you there are lights that out there that you can just plug into the wall. I installed some white ones in a display cabinet just a couple months ago. Have you checked all the local hardware stores?

Yea I had ordered three pairs. I have a molex power supply coming in, and will splice some spare molex connectors and crimp them to the 12V line. Got to love eBay.

Sorry to leave everyone hanging on this post, but I had a lot of things happening to me last year. Now everything is better, and I have resumed the project again. I got some LEDs I've ordered last year, and one of them isn't completely working. I do need more wire, and more LED strips as well, but it did light up. Maybe I'll take pics later when I'm not busy on how far I got so far.

OK. Here is some pics finally lol. I haven't played with it in a year, but one of the LED lights sems to be half off. So I'll buy at least two more strips for the Desk shelves and the Rack. Who knows, maybe I'll get some for under each of my Studio monitor stands as well. but here is something to look at at least.
