| is it possible? i noticed a few people here on the forums have painted their HAF interiors. i myself am looking into doing so, as well, but i cannot at the moment figure out how to remove those clicky buttons.are they a simple snap in type thing that i can just pull off of the case? |

i am thinking of using Plasti-Dip on the inside. i know i am supposed to mask off areas that i do not want paint on, which, on a haf, would probably be the door hinges and around the edge, or it may not fit right.
i am also planning to mask off a bit around the I/O shield hole in the back of the case so i can remove and exchange I/O plates, and maybe taping off the drive bay buttons, and the tiny areas around them on the inside.
based on idea from this forum: http://www.overclock.net/case-mods-general-discussion/476614-plasti-dip-help-silence-your-case.html |

you just have to bend the clips up that secure the buttons to the case. and be careful when removing them, there are springs that will shoot out, i caught one in the eye. but you can also lose them making the buttons useless.
when all is said and done put the assembly back together and bend the little clips back. try to use the butt of a screwdriver so you dont scratch the paint when putting them back on. plastic or hard rubber will do fine with a blunt object to hit it with. the case is steel and those little bastards are kinda hard to bend. |

| Thanks for the tip! after getting around to painting, i decided to just paint the mounts for the buttons. but i did tape off the buttons themselves. |
