Whats the funniest/most retarded one that you have come across, if you were to only pick one?
Mine would be the time that the guy cut off the top side of his CPU cooler, to fit into his case, then complained that the fins weren't good enough, and that was why his cooler wasn't any good at all. 2/5. The funny thing was, was that this was the "top review" and had about 90% positive feedback, form like 300 people. LOL!

They're just funny because some of them are so dumb:

Other Thoughts: Cash for cache you can't beat AMD.

lolwut?

Pros: I've been an Intel user all my life, but a friend suggested I look at the AMD before making a decision. When I did my research, I quickly discovered there was no comparison, it's a hands down winner in performance, and making the AMD choice gave me more bang for the buck.

1/4 the cost of comparable i7 competitor.

Fastest computer I have ever experienced, including against an i-950. The test was to OC and keep underload temp less than 65 C.
Additionally, this CPU is about $325 less than the i-950. So put that in your pipe and smoke it

Had an Intel i7 920 and had a number of issues because of the triple channel memory controller. The AMD 965 does not use triple channel, which i think is a good thing because it is tried, true, and reliable!

fail.

you can't go wrong with getting the same performance as the Intel i7 at the same speed for a quarter (yes thats 1/4th) the price. hands down go AMD!

really? It's as fast as the 975?
some people (ie fanboys) just never change.

Its a sad fact that some people still think CPUs have the same performance clock for clock. A 3Ghz P4 is just as fast as a 3Ghz Core 2 Duo! As for AMD chips, I liked their old naming scheme where you can tell the performance against the Intel Chip at the time. I.E, a Athlon XP 3100+ would have performance of a 3.1Ghz clocked Intel at the time. Oh how times have changed (and became funny\stupid).

You guys are all wrong. Why would you spend $1500 on a Core i7 laptop at 1.6GHz, when you can get a $150 netbook with a N270 (1.6GHz) that is just as fast?

Is it illegal to this thread if I make a stupid one just to post it up here as a stupid one?

Probably.

The ones that raise my blood pressure aren't the one's that are obvious. They're the ones that attempt to reply in a factual method...like it's a forum. I've had a couple come off very Seinfield like.

"What's with all this voltage talk. It's a sound card. What if it..." What? Needs a friend? The card needs a power source. It's not there for pretty.

I like to check out cases on newegg to see whats new, and a lot of them have someone talking about how they cut themselves setting up their rig. Thats always a big glass of WTF juice for me. Are these people strapping on Freddy Krueger gloves before installing their hardware?

I hate to say it, but the other day I was reading SSD (drive) reviews and I feel bad for people that buy a super slow one and actually give it a great review, but don't really realize it's so slow.

Like I saw an SSD drive on there that had a read speed of like 10MB/sec and someone actually reviewed it and saying it was faster then his old SATA laptop drive.

I feel like a jerk even saying this. Some people just don't understand that just because it's an SSD, doesn't mean it's ALWAYS going to be fast.
