Because Sager came out with its i7 before and it has overshadowed the Asus.

However, the Asus is a better value even though the Sager supports up to a 280m where as the Asus does not. 1080p/4GB DDR3 RAM/2x 320 7200rpm HD is standard for $300 less. You get the same i7, just a 260m nVidia GPU. So for all the features of the Asus, is $300 worth it for a faster GPU?

With just default specs, the Sager would be faster in games due to a lower resolution (1600x900) and a beefier 280m GPU. However to match some of the features of the Asus, 1080p, 640gig HD, 4gb RAM, it comes to about $500 more. So would $500 be worth it to bump a 260m to 280m? Also, the Asus looks better IMO. :D
