I need some help putting this job into a classification... what would you call it?

* Operate Enterprise scheduling software to coordinate the running of 14,000 processes / tasks per shift

* Know disaster recovery to help troubleshoot & solve issues that may not be readily apparent from the initial problem report from the database team

* Work with the customer / business unit to correct problems related to database errors or problems that would impact the successful completion of any given set of those tasks / processes

* Be on call / available with a pager & laptop during your shift & then a secondary on-call contact on your days off (10 hour work days, 4 days a week, the other 3 days of the week being the "secondary" on-call)

* On a team of 4, you are the contact / Team Lead

I need a point of reference, I'm not sure what this job would be called in the professional circles out there. Do you have any feedback?

Network Analyst?

It is similar to the work I did as an intern at AOL with the addition of leading the team. My title there was Network Analyst.

Maybe Jipstyle, but I was thinking more along the line of.

System Administrator.

Yeah .. sound like it could also be a junior SA position. If the position involves configuring apps and writing small batches of system-level code and scripting, it could also be an SA position.

Good call.
