My friend wants to buy my old laptop from me. It is a Dell Inspiron 5100
It was purchased in 2004 and I'm unsure of how much it is worth now
Specs:

2.8 P4
1 GB ram
32mb integrated graphics.
Internal wireless card b/g
15 inch screen
xp pro Sp3 installed
80 GB ide hd.

That's old and outdated. I wouldn't pay more than $100. Can't really do anything with that, except web browsing and word processing. If that's all he's doing, then it's fine. It's a good computer for basic tasks, but nothing more than that.

If its your friend, be nice to him. $100 would be the very max for that. Cut that in half-or something cause if he's willing to buy it then it needs it a lot more.
