 Post subject: batch file? end process tree

i tap on picture to play video. media player loads but somtimes video won't play. i close media player tap on a differt picture . some times media player won't even pop up. so i have to do this; task manager is already on desktop. process tab . right click on wmpnscfg.exe. tap on end process. tap next box to end process. when i tap back on picture media player loads and plays video. is ther abatch file tha can do this. and could it be assinged to the desktop? :roll:

taskkill /IM wmpnscfg.exe /F


put that in kill WMP.bat and enjoy.

Open notepad.
Copy in the stuff in the "code" tag.
Save it as "KillWMP.bat" (you'll need to change the file type to All files *.* or it may add the .txt extention).
Save and run when you need to kill WMP.

thanks again i followed directions and it' s in my doc folder and my desktop. i' ll leave one more post next time i have to end media player should be tommorow to let you know. thanks again.

Yes, that is how batch files work. If you just double click them the window comes up and goes away when the command is done.

You may be killing the wrong process with the command.
