Is there one? I saw the Halo2 one the other night on TV, but the only vids I've seen for HL2 are the E3 vids and a few others demonstrating the SDK tools. I'm just wondering if Valve's marketing department had the time/effort to put out a trailer.

That's a good question ... I have no idea.

On the other hand, they don't really need any more publicity.

yeah, those were the E3 demos that they showed. I downloaded those and they were just videotaped at E3, but the ones they sent with CZ were hi rez vids.

No way, there's like 500 million of them.

It was a brief run through like that one with some cool techno music and an appropriately creepy fade out of that old wrinkly agent-looking guy.

No, it was a "brief run through" - about 1-2 minutes long.

Best thing to do is just go on media blackout until you play the game. it's only six days away 8)

Thats exactly what I do, only I call it an "apathy blackout" - I basically remember how little I care and go pick up the game whenever I get a chance.

i'm basically doing that seeing as i've seen every bit of media they've put out. and I have it pre-laded already, so I can't say "I'll pick it up sometime". I have it, so i'm gonna play it!!!!!!
