Is November great or what?

First you have the 3 majorly hyped suppose to be kick ass games coming out plus Nvidia's SLI and all the other new technology coming out :D

Halo 2 = Nov 9th
World of Warcraft = Nov 23rd
Half-Life 2 = Nov 26th

I'm assuming Blizzard, Bungie, Valve all want people to purchase their $50 games then spend all of Thanksgiving break playing them......well they got me trapped......now I just need to come up with $150 plus money for a new GPU.....

The review in PC-Gamer and the fact CS-Source and all the pre-loading over Steam is pretty much evident it's not going to be delayed again.

I'll put $50 Paypal bucks on it...anybody wanna gamble? 8)

Is spelling "ILLEGAL" as "ILLIGAL" illegal on the forums?

Save your money on World of Warcraft. I was on the Beta, and I don't think this game will appeal to anyone but fanboi's of the MMORPG genre. Some will love it of course, but I have yet to find a MMORPG that I can enjoy for more than a month or two. My complaints with the game are many, but suffice to say I loved the Warcraft series, but WoW just didn't cut the mustard for me. YMMV.

Yup. Not gonna be seeing the outside for awhile. I think i'll come up with a fictitious communicable disease that will last thru the last couple of weeks in November. This way no one will want to come over, or ask why all of a sudden i've become a hermit.

I have pre-ordered HL2 with Steam.
I have pre-ordered Halo 2 for my Box.
I am currently playing WoW, and will pick it up when it's released.

WoW will be released in America on November 23, 2004.

"World of Warcraft will be available for Windows® 98/ME/2000/XP and Macintosh® formats at a suggested retail price of $49.99 in the U.S., and will include a free one-month subscription to the game. The special collector's edition of World of Warcraft will also be available at release for a suggested retail price of $79.99 and will include the World of Warcraft game on both CD-ROM and DVD, a free one-month subscription, a World of Warcraft behind-the-scenes DVD, an exclusive in-game pet, a cloth map of the game world, a soundtrack CD, an Art of the World of Warcraft coffee table book, and a commemorative game manual signed by the development team.

After the initial free one-month subscription ends, players of World of Warcraft will be able to continue playing under one of three different subscription plans. The month-to-month subscription plan costs $14.99 per month, the three-month plan costs $13.99 per month, and the six-month plan costs $12.99 per month. World of Warcraft subscription fees can be paid by major credit card, PayPal, and pre-paid game cards, which will be available in stores where World of Warcraft is sold. World of Warcraft has received a Teen rating from the ESRB. "

from blizzard.com

that's a decent amount of money to be playing a game PER MONTH.

me 3. But you know I'll be up till 4 am playing it. I already have it preloaded. Silver edition. I was hoping that they would release it on steam before they sold it in stores. I love source so far. I also have Halo 2 Limited Collector's Edition reserved and I'm picking it up tuesday at 5am. WoW however, I do not have reserved or anything. I was never into those games. I may try it out though, but I'm not keeping it for that much a month.

btw, if you've preloaded on steam, I'm just wondering what pack you bought. I got the Silver edition only because the Gold was to much $ and had too much stuff that I didn't want. Plus, the Silver still has Half Life: Source (the first game revised with the source engine). I can't wait to play HL over again with real physics and awesome Zen levels remapped and reskinned and rephysicized(if that a word). I'm gonna be up at 2 am, and I'll start playing it and prolly just suddenly piss myself from being so awe struck...

it was supposed to be great LAST time too, everyone jumped the gun and got their nice 9800 pros and xts in preparation for all the games, I decided to wait until it was in my hand or damn close till I got my 6800gt... timing was great as the price still hasn't dropped much if any below the $400 I bought it for :)
