Well I can admit that Tribes 2 was way behind other games in the fact that it had no single player, but i was playing th beta when it was released, it's a more well rounded game than the 1st, or 2nd. The ability to jetpack add's a ton of speed to the game and the weapons are creative and balanced. Game types run the same though, CTF, DM, TDM, but theres a new one called Ball which is like a basket ball/ hockey, but ofcourse with JETPACKS, AND GUNS!!! A new idea has been the Grappler, which i use happily to swing myself around the map. The veichles are also pretty kick ass, one of which can be used as a spawn point so you have a constant attack on a base. Big creative maps, and a more strategic point to the game because a diffent thing in Tribes 3 is the generator, they were there in tribes 1, and 2 and i think there in ut2k4, but if the generator goes out, the sensor goes out, and that can lead to a little choas, but still fun. plus did i mention, JETPACKS. Also check out Gamespots ratings for it 8.8, almost does this great multiplayer game justice, anyway, i recommend to ANYONE, atleast check it out.
