whats the best gameing mouse and preferably wireless. i already like the logitech mx1000 but $75 is an awful lot when you know they will get cheaper and more people might come out with the laser thing. plus how long will that ion battery last as i heard you cant change that out? i'm not looking for a 2yr $75 mouse.
currently got a microsoft intellimouse explorer 4.o i think it eats batteries but for $1 i can get 4 and put 2 in myself

Then you don't want the best.

Razaor Boomslangs are probably "The Best" gaming mouses, but be lucky to find ot.

The lithium-ion battery is the battery you want in wireless devices. It's not subject to the memory effect of Ni-Cads, and generally has a much longer useage life. Trust me, you'll move on to a new mouse before those batteries wear out.

And you can change the batteries out. You just have to be a little industrious and destructive (but not permanently) in the process.

Agreed - you're looking at the MX1000 or something second best. A close second (and about half the price) would be the MX700.

There ya go. If you can go for the MX-1000, the sweetest wireless rodent ever created.

And by chance if you ever come around to getting a wired (which I prefer), the Intellimouse Explorer is imho the best in the wired category.
