Hi, I dont know how to really explain this problem but ill give it a shot.

Some games I have issues playing because it is like a button is being pressed none stop, so that the menu scren comes up then goes away continously. I cant isolate it, its like a key on the keyboard or my mouse.

But only in certain games and only games that I have issues with like Aquanox, Theif 2 and Leisure suit larry TM.

I play a lot of games but these 3 games have the same issues. Doom 3, Farcry, Unreal and so on have no problems whatsoever. I have sinse done a clean install on a formated drive and the same problems occur. Any Ideas, i know its a vaige thing to explain. :?:

Have you tried swapping with a different keyboard and a different mouse?

What are your system specs?

Sounds like faulty keyboard and/or mouse.

Check your button configuration in those games and compare them with the games that work properly.

MX Duo Keyboard mouse

P4 2.8C
1GB PC3700
ASUS P4P800 Deluxe
yada yada

It is funny because it is very selective, 95% of games work just fine.
I suppose it could be a faulty keyboard or mouse however, Then not in these games it works fine

Messed up Huh

Hmm. Complete long shot here but if your mouse/kb are USB versions could it have to do with those games predating USB mouse/keyboards? I'm not even sure they do predate them... like I said, I'm just making wild suggestions.
