Hi,

I was having a thought yesterday. I have a ton of computer games. My desktop PC has 200gb of space, but do to *something* it doesn't boot, and I am too lazy to reformat it. Plus, I got a laptop recently and it kicks ass, and I enjoy using it much more than my desktop. Be that as it may, If I were to buy a large USB2.0 external harddrive, could I install a bunch of these games on that harddrive and rip iso's of the play cds with alcohol 120%? In essence, making me able to play my games on any computer that i am on??

As I am typing this, I am thinking that it may not work....I believe that the games would require registry entries....hmmm....

Anyways, if anyone has any insight on this it would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!

There are games that install registry entries.

I'm sure NeverWinter Nights does, I think UT2004 also does it as well.
