NEWS

Wanting to re-live the old days? Hoping to see what all the hype was about? One of the most popular games of the 1980s has been adopted as the theme of a new café in Orlando, Florida. Namco, the creator of Pac-Man, has opened the café in advance of the 25th anniversary of the dot-eating hungryman.

Food available in the café includes burgers, salads, deserts, and pizzas (said to be the inspiration for the character) shaped like Pac-Man. There is a 10- by 10-foot screen on which patrons can play one game of Pac-Man for free, and the Pac-Man Museum allows a walk down memory lane.

The café also has a game room on the second floor with over 100 video games.

Too cool! I can still remember the excitement when I got my hands on my Atari 2600 cartridge of Pac-Man.

I was totally excited too , but too bad that excitement was let down when you actually played Pac Man on the 2600. :/

I remember when my older brother, and I, would walk down to the local pizzeria and play Pac Man for hours...man...good times.

My mom actually bought me some Pac Man bed sheets for my birthday! I thought I was the s--t!

I hated the atari packman, you had to eat lines instead of dots. It was horrible. Not as bad as E.T. though.
