This usually happens just as I die so I load the last save game and try again.

But I've often wanted a punching bag close by to release some tension.

Late last year I bought SOCOM Navy Seals when it was $20, and ended up shattering the disk in about 10 pieces. I used to throw my controller on the ground really hard. Now I usually just curse loudly.

you wonder why i buy extended warranties? ive replaced a few broken controlles that were broken by either me or my bro getting pissed at video games. my brother broke his n64 controller by hitting me in the knee with it when we were playing nhl98 against each other.

Those videos were funny.

Learned a while back w/ PS one. Kept breaking gamepads. Its too expensive to be breaking computers and their components, and the software. Just gotta exit the game and breath deeply.

Its not games that anger me now, its Windows OS's.

You people have issues.

I've never broken anything in anger that wasn't capable of healing.

I'd say 9 times out of 10 I just stop playing/working on whatever I am at the time and just walk away from it for a period of time until I cool off.

... but for that perverbial 10th time when the stress level hits just a certain boiling point, that's why I've kept a really old non-functioning PC at a corner of my room with a big metal bar to beat at it with. A few good swings and it really dissapates the stress.

Strangely enough, the case of the computer in question (old PC AT clone from late 80's) is only slightly dented and scratched here and there while the bar I used to swing at it is all curved and gouged. Those damn computer cases were literally bulletproof. Thick folded sheet steel. Built like a damn tank, hehe.

Well, I once threw entire system out the window, then blamed the cat. Wife didn't believe me for some strange reason, So I had to go out and buy her a system for herself before she let me spend anything on a new systems for myself. Now, I just laugh. Its just a GAME, right? :D

Shoot perfect strangers with my sniper rifle from rooftops.

Luckily I only get mad at games a few times a day, ammo gets expensive.

Find a way to cheat the games to my advantage (or just try again or walk away)

Usually when i get mad at a game, I walk a way for a sec. One time, after spending 5 hours trying to install win98 on a comp. , I punched a wall. Not only did it leave a huge hole in the wall, I broke three bones in my hand. I guess I learned my lesson after that... :)
