No.

HL-2 will start off A few years after the original Black Mesa Incident.

Yes/No to my theory..?

Lol, I'm doing the same think. I thought that farc cry had better story gameplay than Doom 3. Doom has a very nice engine, but other than that, it's plain and sometimes boring.

Halo was fun because you can use vehicles and you can can play with a "team".

I can't wait for Halo 2 and HL2, I don't care if its the same gameplay.

I'd add that I liked Max Payne, it was fun to play too!

lol, i'm gonna quote him too, because he hit the nail on the head. I never use cheats when I play a game thru for the first time, but I got so bored with the redundant levels that I too started using cheats just to "get it over with"

The funny part is, even using cheats I still havn't finished the game. *sigh*

HL2...where are you?!

Out of the box, the multiplayer game is seriously lacking, once again, only an after-thought.

All along it was stated that the main focus would be on "single player". Multi-player should get polished with time. As far as i'm concerned, this is a great game.

Just my opinion.

:D

I think we need to look at where D3 is going to take the genre. Yes we have complaints about the game, it ain't perfect! But when you look at where future developers are going to take the D3 engine, almost anyone would cream in their pants!
