Maximum PC

When I play Cod Modern Warfare 3 the game will crash / freeze while I am in the middle of playing any game type; it has become so bad now, that I can't even finish 1 ENTIRE GAME without it freezing / crashing. When the game does freeze / crash: the screen will not do anything and it will stay on the frame it crashed on, the PS3 will still be on, the controller will still be "connected" (it is still assigned as player 1 / 2 etc.), taking out the disk doesn't help either. I have tried deleting then re-installing the patch, and restoring the PS3 system data, neither did fix the solution. I also get the occasional "disk read error," but crashing / freezing will occur most of the time.

So this is for a PS3 or a computer? sounds like the PS3 is on its last leg unless another game works for longer.
