How much does that cost a year?

For some people, free. For other people, whatever the going rate for Geek Squad is, or their friendly neighborhood tech support.

In my neighborhood, the latter costs 50$ a visit and having to listen to me lecture on how to keep your pc clean.
Basics: Don't be an idiot. Even though the ad may say they have pictures of kittens, it's actually nasty.
Don't turn off your antivirus, I do not care that it runs faster without it.
Don't give out your SSN, bank account number, username, password, or anything else over the internet.
Don't download just anything, get it from a trusted source (i.e. Cnet, but not The Pirate Bay.).
That free version of Photoshop you downloaded is actually probably crawling with viruses, besides, it's stealing. Go use the online tool instead, or pay the nice people at Adobe for it.
