Well if you like crazy racing games... Then download Trackmania Nations. I though that it was pretty fun to play.

Hey, just wondering if anyone knows where to get the full version of Freespace 2. It's apparently old enough it cant be bought anymore, although it was only released in 1999. The closest I've come is at underdogs, but even there the version they have is minus the cutscenes, probably due to licensing issues or some shit like that.

Actually, you're in luck. :)

The code was released by Volition, and you can now download the full game free legally. :)

Available for download at Freespace Zone.

There's also now a Linux port, and the game has been updated with some modern hardware in mind. :D

This is still one of my favorite games.

I tried to do a search to make sure nobody had already posted this but the search kept hanging (somebody needs to tell the maxpc folks that futurenetwork's servers were hanging their site).

Anyway, I just did somewhat of a review on my site about Dogs of the Seas. It's a browser game that is surprisingly complex, and in accordance with the theme of this thread: FREE.

If you can suffer through the poor English translation and complex interface it might be a cool game.

Haha, I've played that game! I'm pretty sure that game is shareware but as far as safe to download: you're probably rolling the dice.

I believe the full version requires payment so I think posting a link to that would violate the terms of this forum (and the law).

The multiplayer component of F.E.A.R is available for download for free along with a FREE CD-KEY! You can play with other players with the retail version of the Game. Its called F.E.A.R Combat but you can still play with people with the CD.

sweet fighting game - you dont punch or kick like other games, you control joints. free for the full thing

here's a movie

each of those spheres is a joint - you can hold relax, contract or extend a joint - that's it - now you're an expert!

I second that.. WARROCK. I downloaded and installed WARROCK ( ONE MONTH AGO )... and I've been waiting for the "code" thru email for the past 30 days.. I think their webmaster is no longer living.

Lawrence, Thanks for bringing that up. I downloaded it late last nite and registered for free cd-key and in matter of minutes, I got the cd-key thru email !! Theres a way of getting around it if you want to play single player.. and that is .. to download a COOP MOD and then start a server (LAN) and u get to play "alone" versus the AI BOTS :)

update: Playing it as a single-player COOP is alot of fun !! it takes many hours to kill all the AI BOT :) This is also the way I play my Joint Operation.. I create LAN and use COOP and single-play all by myself :)

No one here has mentioned Flyff or Fly for Fun. It's a cool lil RPG style game I've been playing as of late & it even has an area for PvP and PK. If anyone decides to get on, look for me in the Lawolf Server. Name: Barrocus

I never got that to work... and the reviews on Download.com don't really make me want to try hard.

This is the most ridiculous/cheapest reply i have ever made regarding FREE downloadable video games.

http://www.pong-story.com/pcpong.htm

but it still entertains me

And there is Half-Life: Uplink (half-life demo). Sadly, Half-life uplink never made it to full development but its still pretty good.

Click to download now, it may take a few secs to start up download.
